Sustainable wool
Andiata’s sustainable wool is made by the prestigious Italian wool factory Tollegno, situated in the foothills of the Italian Alps. Tollegno’s factory is a pioneer in utilizing renewable energy, as they produce the electricity they need via a hydroelectric plant and solar panels.
The wool fiber comes from the Tasmanian Beaufront farm, which is run by fourth-generation sheep runners, the Von Bibra family. The Von Bibra’s are well-known for being passionate about the care of both their animals and the earth. The family produces ethically grown, extremely high-quality merino wool that is soft, beautiful and has a unique finesse.
