Designing Unique Gown for Princess Sofia of Sweden

We are delighted to announce the privilege of designing the unique evening gown for her Royal Highness Princess Sofia of Sweden for this year’s Nobel Award Ceremony. Inspired by the elegance of Princess Sofia, Tarja Rantanen designed an evening gown, where a voluminous tulle-skirt draws a strong, timeless silhouette. The gown has been hand-crafted by Andiata's couturières at our atelier in Finland.

Behind the scenes from our Helsinki Atelier: Witness the artistry as we meticulously bring to life the unique, made-to-measure gown for the Nobel Prize Ceremony, designed exclusively for Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia of Sweden, from initial sketch to final creation.

The gown features a fitted bodice and a voluminous full length-tulle skirt where the waist is adorned by small roses, complemented by larger ones in taft silk at the back. The handmade roses, crafted from the same fabric as the dress, adorn Princess Sofia's hair, bringing a seamless and captivating completeness to her overall look. It has been both an honor and a pleasure to design this Nobel gown for her Royal Highness Princess Sofia of Sweden.
