Since 1986, we’ve been proud to build a female-founded and run business, working alongside and employing talented women, both within our team and in the production factories, where most of the hands crafting our designs belong to women. GLORIA FASHION
Award in 1998
The biggest fashion and lifestyle publication in Finland, Gloria magazine gives praise to Finnish companies and design. The prestigious Gloria Fashion Award is given to innovative brands of high quality, unique appeal and commercial success.
GOLDEN HANGER AWARD
Award in 2002
The eight Golden Hanger award goes to Andiata and its designer/managing director Tarja Rantanen. The jury was unanimous in its decision. According to jury, Andiata fulfills all the Golden Hanger criteria: the collection is high quality, functional, in the spirit of the times, good value for money and also exportable.
Andiata manufactures clothing for women who appreciate quality and require dresswear for representative occasions at work. The high quality fabrics are mainly Italian and the scale of colors is refined and clear. Skirt/jacket and pants/jacket ensembles, dresses, blouses and coats in the Andiata collection are classically tailored. Hats, scarves and bags completes the collection.
VEUVE CLICQUOT BUSINESS WOMAN AWARD
Award in 2011
In 2011 Tarja Rantanen received the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award, which honors brave and successful business women.
Andiata brand ws born when Tarja, a young fashion designer, boldly began a company to carry out her own ideas and views. "I had difficulty finding clothes that suited my own taste, so I started making them myself. I did not consciously aim to become a fashion designer, but I've always been interested in the aesthetic things – in dressing up your interior." -Tarja Rantanen
Having first founded Andiata Oy in 1986, Tarja Rantanen has been the CEO, owner and the head designer of the business fashion brand ever since – one of the top in Finland. For the past quarter century, Andiata has been dressing politicians, celebrities and businesswomen in feminine yet distinctly modern business clothing.

As the owner and managing director, she is responsible for both the company's line of products and the company’s financial results. Rantanen has shown innovation by continually reforming the Andiata product line, as well as keeping their products at the forefront of the developments of the field. Platinum Certificate in 2023
The Strongest in Finland Platinum certificate is awarded to companies with strong foundation of financial stability, reliability and transparency. The certificate is based on the Rating Alfa -credit rating of Suomen Asiakastieto.
