Part III: Milan

July in Milan was a fantastic opportunity for Tarja and Matilda to explore the city and see some of its best sights. The 30-degree heat didn't dampen their enthusiasm, but it did give the streets of Milan a unique atmosphere. July is the perfect time to soak up the city's vibrant energy – it's buzzing with the glow of summer.

Usually Tarja and Matilda started their days with a stroll through Milan's historic streets, where fashion and culture stand side by side. The city's architecture, parks, and small cafés made them want to stop and admire everything around them. As they walked through the city, particularly in the Brera district, Tarja and Matilda kept discovering one charming, cozy street after another. Brera is a district know for its fine arts, upscale restaurants, and historical, fashionable atmosphere, and was one of Tarja & Matilda's favorites for a reason. Milan is a city that truly lives and breathes elegance, and the July sun added its own warm touch.

They also enjoyed some of the best Italian food and stylish restaurants like Dal Bolognese and Da Giacomo. Both restaurants are well-known for their great food and stylish interiors, which reflect Milan's sophisticated look. The Italian flavours and ambience really enhanced one another.

Their trip culminated in Dolce & Gabbana's "Dal Cuore Alle Mani" exhibition, which was a real fashion show. It demonstrated the high quality of the fashion house's craftsmanship, combining traditional Italian aesthetics with modern creativity. Each creation on display was a work of art, showing a deep love and dedication to craftsmanship as the name "Dal Cuore Alle Mani" indicates – from the heart to the hands. You could really sense the heritage of the brand come to life through the designs and feel the magic of the creative director' fingerprints in each of the pieces. Also, the attention and dedication to detail was astonishing and one can only wonder how many hours it has taken to complete the creations. Tarja & Matilda were truly inspired by the exhibition and will incorporate its influence in future Andiata collections.
